Toinen kausi televisiosarjasta Taru sormusten herrasta: Mahtisormukset alkaa 29. elokuuta 2024.[1]
Toinen kausi kuvattiin pääosin Britanniassa. Kuvaukset alkoivat 3. lokakuuta 2022[2] ja päättyivät vahvistamattomien tietojen mukaan 6. kesäkuuta 2023.[3]
Toinen kausi vahvistettiin alun perin marraskuussa 2019.[4] Se on ensimmäisen kauden tavoin kahdeksan jakson pituinen.[2]
