Once more I am taking part in the all-year weekly drawing challenge Inktober 52. Each week a prompt is published and during the next week artists can make drawings (preferably by ink) based on this prompt. Hopefully I will be able to draw more prompts than last year. 🙂

Unlike the regular Inktober during the month of October, I am not going to do it strictly Tolkien-themed, but if I find the prompts fitting, it is always a nice opportunity to draw a piece of Tolkien Art. Therefore, when I saw the prompt 2 "Home", it was clear what I had to draw. Because what other place could be more homely than Bag End? 🙂

And it was indeed well received. So much, that even the official account INKTOBER on Instagram featured my drawing, which was really unexpected and I was very grateful for such an honour!

-although I must admit I am not 100% satisfied with it, there is a mistake I made in perspective drawing, see it explained in more detail here.
