- Enedwaith was a land in northwestern Middle-earth. Its boundaries were defined in the north by the rivers Greyflood and Glanduin, to the east by the Hithaeglir, to the south by the river Isen and to the west by Belegaer, 'The Great Sea'. Originally it was a large woodland, but during the Second Age it underwent deforestation by the Númenoreans. Eastern highlands of Enedwaith wee known as Dunland and the Dunlendings were descendants of the original inhabitants of Enedwaith.
